Sanitary Facilities for the Community

The Blue Coffee Bean

With Tchibo and Meister Kaffee as sponsors, and in partnership with Pavco and Corona, Expocafé is getting new sanitary facilities for the Seynekun community. This includes septic tanks and water efficient bathrooms.
Water Resource Management (WRM) is Expocafé's sustainability initiative, targeting economic, environmental and social sustainability goals, through work with coffee grower communities on adoption of approaches and habits that lead to reduced and adequate water use in coffee production and daily activities.
WRM includes training on key community, business and coffee aspects, and supports coffee production practices that impact crop productivity, which is directly related to coffee grower's income.
Coffees labeled with the WRM's blue coffee bean logo are guaranteed to be produced following responsible water management methods.
