The Luxemburgo cooperative farm is a clear and real example that when people get together and work as as team amaizing results can be obtain. The ten partners and their families have been working the last 8 years to build a space to work and to live in peace. Each family is responsable for a lot but they all are owners. As a group, they combined different experiences and levels of education allowing them to be open minded and respectful of the others opinions. They work for the commom good and the accomplishments can be seen in the farm. They want to generate a positve change in the region and prove that the coffee business can be a good and satisfactory way of life.

Luxemburgo's People


Luxemburgo Cooperative Farm is located in Chaparral, Tolima. It has a total area of 160 hectares. 40 ha are preserve forest where natives species animals and plants have a chance to trive. It has 70,000 coffee plants as the main project. It has fruit trees like lulo and granadilla, pisciculture projects to make it integral and auto sustainable farm.

He was one of the founders of ASOHERMOSAS, a association that is working to improve the farmers situation in the region. Don Victor work hand to hand with the community, share knowledge and consider team work essential. Money for him is a complement but having a quiet life is more important.
He is positive, very analitic and thinks before act allways.


Eduard Campos Mendez

He is the older sibling in his family. He is helping his mom to recover the farm. Eduard is trying to buils a model coffee farm that will help others to learn best practices and be able to produce good quality coffee.

He is well organized and likes to help his community.

She is a energetic and vital woman that provide for her family with the work done in the coffee farm. Maria is a lider in her community and love her family and the coffee land.
She is a entrepeneur and hardworking woman.
